My heart is heavy today as politicians continue to debate and make decisions about trans kids. @kitontheoutside has a great post about this very topic.
The house is extra quiet today. My youngest left to go back to her other home on the East Coast yesterday. Already counting the days till I can see her again.
Today was a good day. A morning and sunset walk, eagle sighting, found an agate, tasty brunch and luxurious nap. My heart is full.
A few days ago, my older daughter suggested we go take in the sunset. She brought some warm ginger lemon tea to share. I appreciate that she reminds me to take a break from the busyness of life.
I love seeing all the posts about Easter. It reminds me of when my daughters were young. My favorite year was when we did an Easter egg hunt and instead of candy I put homemade coupons inside. Coupons for extra stories, or staying up late, or choosing what we had for dinner. Good memories.
